Just Chatting

Summer rolls on relentlessly! Fall seems far away! In the middle of the garden harvest and the hot days in the pool, friends and kool-aid, pop cycles and watermelon comes another student to check out Blueberry House.

That excites me! I am ready to get moving on it all. I have a lot of school work to do this month. I have to finalize curriculum for two of my students and Im also considering buying another computer desk so I can up my computer stations to three. Ikea has some very cheap computer desks so maybe I will be able to purchase on this weekend. If I do get the job with the new student she will be doing K12 and another station would be nice.

If I don't get this student it will be more a matter of price than anything. I feel sorry for these people that want me to teach their kids but I really need to make some money on it or I might as well just invest all my time and energy in my own kids. This tutoring is my way of helping out with the family income while still homeschooling and remaining at home with my kids, so no matter how I want to help people I cant just do it for free. That bothers me in every way because I love to teach and I love the kids, but it just has to be this way.

So while the summer drags on with unbearable heat I get these tiny moments to dip into the school year to come. Im loving it!

I wish I had access to a service like this! I have 8 children to school and it would be so nice to have someone to take on the older ones while I school the younger ones! What a great service you are offering. I'm looking forward to your school year starting so I can follow you on here!
